EZVIZ is a global company and it is possible that employees from some of our affiliated companies have access to Customer Personal Data. For example, EZVIZ may offer its Customers technical supports by leveraging its support engineers in countries where EZVIZ operates, which means that although EZVIZ will not move Customer’s Personal Data into another jurisdiction, sometimes EZVIZ will provide Customer support from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). EZVIZ will always ensure that intercompany processing of personal data is in line with the applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, which means the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“EU GDPR”) as implemented by countries within the EEA and the EU GDPR as retained as UK law by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (“UK GDPR”). When the performance of EZVIZ Cloud Services involves a transfer of personal data outside the EEA, EZVIZ will take the require steps to ensure there is adequate protection for such personal data. This will be done in accordance with the GDPR, which may include entering into the Standard Contractual Clauses set out in the European Commission’s Decision 2010/87/EU and/or the subsequent supplementary laws and regulations.
